Exciting Things are Happening!

Wow! What a season it has been! I wanted to take this opportunity to express our immense gratitude to each and every one of you and to Big White Ski Resort for your support of our club this season!

Our athletes put up some incredible results and had many podiums – they represented Big White Freestyle with both integrity and great sportsmanship.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank Jason Moseley! As you know, Jay is moving on from his program director role with the club. Jay has been a foundational part of our club and is THE reason the club is where it is today! We are so grateful for the leadership and direction he has provided us. We wish Jay all the best and know he will still be a strong presence within the club.

To that end, I also want to introduce Sam Freedman to you all as our new Program Director. Sam is also known as ‘Subway’ since he spent years taking the subway with his ski gear from downtown Toronto… now that is dedication! Sam grew up skiing moguls and slopestyle at Beaver Valley Ski Club, eventually coaching there for 10 years before making the move out west to be a performance coach at Fernie Freestyle Ski Club for the past two seasons. Sam is stoked to start working with Big White Freestyle and we are looking forward to his energy and enthusiasm taking our club to the next level!
