FUNdamentalz is our introductory program developed by the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association. Participants, aged 7-10 years of age, must be able to load a T-bar or chairlift unassisted, take care of their own equipment AND ski parallel on a green run. Skiers are taught mountain safety, all-terrain skiing, jumps and bumps skills and an introduction to the Terrain Park. All athletes will be placed in suitable groups based on age, ability, and friends they would like to ski with. Athletes are encouraged to participate in any of our local competitions such as the Big White Freestyle produced Huck, Tuck and Stomp and Club events.
Additional camps may be available throughout the season for interested athletes. These camps are not mandatory and will have an additional fee. Cost and dates are TBD, please keep an eye on our website calendar for details if you are interested.
Participation in any club activities is NOT permitted without the proper license. Please download a copy of your BC Freestyle membership card. It will be required when registering for any Big White Freestyle programs.
