The Freestylerz program is designed for athletes who have surpassed the Black Diamond level of the FUNdamentalz program and want to learn more about freestyle skiing with a focus on having fun. This program encompasses both of the specialized Girlstylerz and Freeriderz streams of training. Athletes in this program are aged between 8 – 18 yrs old. Athletes must be able to ski parallel on blue runs and be confident trying black runs. This program takes a balanced approach to the freestyle ski disciplines and focuses on teaching skills in Slopestyle (the terrain park), Moguls, Freeskiing and Big Air, in order to build competent life-long skiers. Athletes will be expected to participate in the Big White Freestyle produced Huck, Tuck and Stomp and Club events. Freestylerz should attend regional freestyle competitions as recommended by our coaching staff. Competition fees will apply to athletes for any events not at Big White Ski Resort and are due within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
Additional camps may be available throughout the season for interested athletes. These camps are not mandatory and will have an additional fee. Cost and dates are TBD, please keep an eye on our website calendar for details if you are interested.
Participation in any club activities is NOT permitted without proper license. Please download a copy of your BC Freestyle membership card. It will be required when registering for any Big White Freestyle programs.
